Getting Started

Select language with a click on a Flag in Settings .
Click on Archive to select the folder which contains your image archive or the images you like to test against. The best is to begin with a small number of images. This folder and any sub-folder will be scanned for files ending in JPEG or JPG. The number of selected files will be shown next to the button.
Define images, which are to be tested against the Archive, with , per Drag and Drop onto the form or by dragging an image or folder onto the program icon.
The search will be started by pressing "GO" or automatically, if so defined in settings.
The program will now collect information about your images and compare them. If images match the criteria, they will be shown in the result list . The List gives information which similarity in %. If the a match is found by mirrowing one image a "M" next to % will indicate this. In addition mini images of the two involved and a difference images (XOR) are displayed. The investigator Dialog can be invoked, via right mouse button click or double click, to get a large view. Our program won't compare identical files, that is with the same absolute path.
If indicated in the result message, more information about the search is available in the log
The search can be adjusted for better result in Settings

TIP: Hover with the mouse pointer over an element to display more information. Press F1 to get a form information.
